Both saws are the same displacement. Same saw other than the transfer covers from what I understand so once modded they are the same. Best deal buying a 70cc saw.

Exactly.

The 365 X-Torq and the 2166 are both 70cc saws. They are detuned versions of the 372XT and the 2172.

The transfer covers are used to block of part of the transfer ports. The restriction is easy to grind out....
