Up for sale is my ‘restored’ oem 288...awhile back I was fortunate enough to come across some hard to find nos parts and I decided to build this saw with them. New/nos parts: p/c, brake/clutch cover, tank, recoil, wrap handle, high top cover (filter and elbow too), and oil pump. Cases and oem muffler were powder coated (Glock) and @dustinwilt68 assembled the saw with new bearings and seals. Top end is new, oem KS with decomp. It’s been started twice, runs great but has been a shelf queen and I have two ported 288s that get all the run time so this one has to go. Other than nib this one is as nice as you will find, and it has all of the goodies. Asking $950 PayPal f&f. Feel free to ask questions and thanks for looking!

This is one of 3 restored 288s I have built, and this is the nicest of them all, it has all the rare parts on it, even a NOS oil pump, i have a mint low top version and I still consider this the nicest 288 I have ever seen. All OEM parts were used in this build, every screw. you wnt find a better seller to deal with either. GLWS.

Thanks Dustin, and thanks for mentioning the oil pump that I didn’t mention!
