Got in a few saw therapy cuts last night as it got dark. Chain was cutting real good and then hit something so I threw a new loop of LGX on. Haven’t run new out the box in a long time.
Happy to find my chain cuts better.

I wrecked two chains this week. Both right when I was starting out.

I hope to resume bucking and splitting my firewood logs after Christmas holidays and this weekend.
Although, the weather forecast predicts 7 days of rain - so , who knows.

I got some therapy yesterday. That 260 jug I cleaned up from those junk saws.

well I fitted it to a saw with a China pot. Boyo boy it woke up..

No more bogging, lots more torque… me was very happy seeing the chips flying

Sharpened up some junky old semi chisel chains to finish some cuts where I’d hit nails.

What's the milestone? The day you realized your sharpening job has become better than the factory grind? I'm jealous of your saw time, I still need to get a few last piss-revs in before I'm down for awhile. I'm thinking my SP81 would fill the role nicely, 80-someodd cc's of straight-piped American muscle slinging a square filed chain through some NorCal cedar should be fun finale for my 2021 sawing.
