Running condition Mculloch ProMac 850, it is not in perfect shape, clutch cover has been cut on, it appears some sort of plug is missing near where carb adjuster holes are located, the chain adjuster nub that engages the bar to tension it is worn down and barely has any bite to it.

the saw does run and idle, it starts up easily and has a good amount of compression, if you dont use the compression release, it kicks back very hard.

all that being said and comparing current and past ebay auction prices I fell that $300 shipped is a fair price to ask for it, if I am in outer space with this price, please let me know. I am open to negotiation and also possible trades ( i don't have any need for anything in particular, but something may interest me).

I have never done paypal or any other electronic payment service so any deal we make will have to be old school check, cash, money order done through the mail.

I have done about 6 deals like this with members on this site and havent had any issues yet.

Included is a few pics if there is any extra pics you would like taken I will be glad to post them for you. THANKS

Looking at the IPLs, the 850 does not have a cap for that hole, instead there should be a rubber boot that fits up to the carb on the inside and sits against that hole. My D-44 has a plug, but people probably complained about how to get it out and it probably broke off anyway so McCulloch went this other route on later models.

That is a good size saw, looks to be a little more compact than my 200. GLWS!!

I have bought from @redneckhillbilly and the whole process went very smoothly. His communication is excellent and I was very happy with what I received. He is an honest, trustworthy guy from my experience.

Good luck selling the PM850 Andrew, there is plenty of people who are looking for one. That is a very desirable model you have.

I more so enjoy finding these old saws, getting to hear them run, and passing them along to people who know how to take care of them and use them. and in the process will restore them.
