I posted that I have been going through some saws I have around to try and reduce some duplicates. Even after selling one 10-10S Special Edition and swapping another, I still have three more than I need.
First up is a saw that I have used several times in the past, but it needed to have the oiler button replaced. The only way I could see to do that was to remove the fuel tank, thought as long as I am going in I might as well go all the way. Compression was down around 105 PSI so I decided to put rings in it. While I was in there I went rather all out:
Rings, PTO and flywheel side seals, intake gaskets, fuel filter, air filter, spark plug, replaced the starter rope, installed one of my 3D printed sawdust screens, went through the carburetor and replace the fuel pump diaphragm.
Compression came up nicely.
Asking $200 + shipping. It currently has a new 3/8 - 7 tooth rim type sprocket, used 16" McCulloch branded Windsor bar with replaceable sprocket nose, and 3/8 Stihl branded semi chisel chain, not the .325 bar & chain in the photos above. I have other bar & chain options if you prefer something else.
