First of, I have no idea how I missed this thread!

Secondly, it is disappointing that You got no replies whatsoever! :(

Although You most likely figured things out by now, Your little Maruyama utilizes A041 mount bars.

Why the rear handle version?!

At mere 1.04kW rated power, and yes she is not big on power at all, I would urge not to get a rear handle version.
Get the top handle, makes for a sweet "tiny saw"!

I have barely used mine ever since I got my battery powered top handle Makita UC250D.
Fired up my PS-311TH today after taking the above pictures just to circulate some fuel through her.
My PS-3400TH out powers my PS-311TH noticeably, which additionally makes me use the 311 much less.

Don't get me wrong, the PS-311TH is a very sweet saw!
I just don't have much work for her with all my alternatives.

I seen this thread when it was first posted and was hoping it would get some replies. I want to buy the MCV31R.
She is lightweight!
She is not heavy duty.
She is not a "firewood" saw!
She is not a "disaster clearing" saw!
She is a limbing saw and OK for brush clearing.
Landscaping and tree care, fine.

That links product description is so wrong, just WOW!

I'll get one eventually, just waiting for a good deal to materialize. Biggest challenge right now is exercising the saws I have already!
I need to run some fuel through all of my "running" saws, will have to "schedule a day" for it.

Sweet saw, get Yourself one.
