SOLD Makita 6401 muffler

I don’t have torches so I grind the baffles out with a carbide burr bit. Got carried away and cut thru the support tube. If you have torches to heat and bend the crimp and can install a new tube you’re ready to go. Other than the tube the muffler is in great shape. $10 shipped.

That was a great deal on a muffler for these saws!
Somebody sucks for getting this.

I did mine with pliers, took no more than 5 minutes on my second muffler.
Just saying, if not stainless steel one doesn't need a torch.
I think heat only complicates things.
