one possible issue that i saw with the tsumura bars was the mount area was narrower compared to other bars like stihl cannon oregon etc. I suggested dave talk to the Japanese about it. Sooo the newly designed 24" and 28" have a wider mount area vs old design. But not overly wide...just simply the same size as stihl cannon oregon etc.

Also suggested the larger cut outs. So the 24 and 28" now weigh a few ounces less and are also stronger. (stihl light still a few ounces lighter though for those who are watching their weight)

here is the 24" stihl mount. Make sure you ask for a discount off ebay pricing...since he don't have to pay 10% in fees.

Great info Redbull!

I have spoken with Dave and he has offered me a great price. Postage is the killer, which is not his fault.
It makes the bar as expensive as 2 x solid pro GB bars locally

Will probably get one, just need to save up a bit more
