this is the 81cc hybrid 7910 piston and cylinder on the 665 its very fast and aggressive I have bought three of these in total all brand new and only ran one and sold it regretted it and bought 2 more specifically to collect. I have never ran either of these saws they are new mint condition just as I have received them from mastermind he probably ran each of them to ensure proper function after porting but that would be all they have seen. When I say there excellent mint I mean it if you need pics I can send them to your phone

I wouldnt feel at all bad to keep them :)
Do your saws have the 272xp unlimited coil?

no I kept the stock coils on there the saw turns less than the limiter in wood and the stock coils have a better ignition curve
I’ve also heard that... my ported 7900 had the stock coil and I never had a problem with tuning, or anything else for that matter.

My 7910 has a stock coil 13,000 rpm from a 665, i love mine and wouldn't consider swapping it to a 272 coil.
Mine came with the 272 coil. It seems to rev fine and have good power. My 7900 had the stock coil, and a Poleman carb, and it also ran awesome. I never ran them side by side, but probably should have done that before I sold the 7900.

BTW, the oiler on my Solo seems to work exceptionally well... it oils the crap out of that 32” bar. It seems like the Dolmar would max out at a 28” unless the oiler was modified... unless I’m imagining things.

Some coils may be a touch different, I had the stock coil in about 5-6 different places. Never did get it where I liked it. 272 OEM coil worked really well for me. But, that's just one saw.

I asked Randy about the 272 coil for mine when he was doing it. He said he didn’t feel it was necessary and so far in my experience with it. I would completely agree with him.
