If it isn't one thing it's another ,So the Toro zero turn was giving me fits. new fuel pump --nope carb .I'd never seen one of that design before .Had a solenoid valve that blocked the main jet and a float carb,Walbro .I thought I could blow it out --no .Had to take that SOB off and clean it out .Not a big deal should have done that from the get go. Another live and learn deal .I seem to be getting a lot of those here of late .

Could be worse. I just had a FX921V with low hours that dropped a valve. Scattered the head and piston.

This mower has around 150 hours on it and I bought it 7 years ago .So with such low usage I only change the oil once a year, full synthetic .After I got it running good again just for curiosity I looked at the cost of a new carb and was surprised .Between 30 and 40 bucks . I'd bet at a Toro dealer it would be 100 .
I just ran a torch tip cleaning wire through the jet and that must have been it .Most likely something that got past the fuel filter .
