SELLING Jonsered 830 project

This is a almost complete saw (missing handguard, bar plates and possibly others), it turns over smooth and the piston looks good through the exhaust port. I have never fueled or tried to start it, I bought it a few years ago and never got around to doing anything with it. I'm sure at minimum it will need the fuel system looked at. I'm asking $350 plus shipping, I accept paypal.

Who uses chain brakes??

Looking at the pictures, I don't see any wear as if there was any chain brake components in there at any time.

The 820s/830s didn't come new with fully-functional brakes in some markets but they were offered as an option.

They were considered a farm/ranch and forestry saw. The 930s I saw new here back in the day all had brakes but they were marketed here as a true professional-grade unit. The 920s were a bit before my time.

I updated the original post. I also noticed that the bar plates are missing.
