Hi Ryan, I have a Jonsered 2260. I will get the carb number and coil number this afternoon, after I cut the grass. Hope you feeling better.

Hi Jack.

Here's what I have going on...

Bad carb on a 2260, the numbers on the carb listed above don't show up as anything...it's what I need.

So..I ordered a el44b because I was told it works...and it does...but...the the fuel line doesn't fit right because of the angle of the nozzle...it leaks gas.

Thanks.

Can you just bend/twist the nozzle?

Hi Ryan, I am sorry for the delay. I just finished doing the lawn.

I see your problem. On my 2260 the carb is EL46 with the brass fuel inlet facing forward toward front on chainsaw. This uses the longer fuel hose.

I took one of my Husky 562 that has carb number 14006 638A and the brass fuel inlet is facing downwards and it uses a shorter fuel hose.

There are two fuel hoses length for these 2260/562, short and long.
If the brass fuel inlet faces down, you use the shorter fuel hose.
If the brass fuel inlet faces front of chainsaw, you use the longer fuel hose.

Hope this help.
Jack
