I've read there was some talk of a run of Jonsered saws that may not have had bearings pressed in correctly at the factory.
Would this unit be suspect?

That tag offers almost zero information. What is the saw doing that makes you think that the bearings are jacked up?

Looks worn it wouldn't be worn if the bearings were *s-word.

It's a couple plus hours away so I can't just stop by. He claims it runs good, 20" bar. $350

kinda beat up and crappy pics...I could use a parts saw or backup but...a cheap non runner would be better I think.
