This is a complete running saw, I bought it a few years ago and cut a couple cords of firewood with it. Recently I decided to get it off the shelf and look it over, I pulled the muffler and it has a carbon streak down the exhaust side of the piston. Saw also has a hairline crack in the case below the flywheel. I have no desire to fix it, asking $300 plus shipping PHO. PM me with any questions.

I have not been into a newer Xtorq yet. Does anyone know if the older XPW top end will bolt on or are the cases different?

It will, but not the other way around IIRC.

Yep, XT saws will take an OE top end without any mods but not vice versa.

XPW cylinders are NLA however a good OE 372 cylinder done properly will be good as well.
