Selling a Jonsered 2054 piston and cylinder. Yhey are in great shape. The piston still has most of the crosshatching and the cylinder bore is smooth.

I think the 2040 is a variant of the 2050. The 2054 is in the 2051 family. Then you've got the intake if its different. The only one that I know of who might know is Bob. I'll get back to you.

Thanks, I Really Appreciate This,,, & Since you're going to the Top of the Mountain, I'm looking for a 2140, or 2145, I Bought the conversion kit with everything to convert it over to a 346 N.E., I found a Really clean 2040 saw and the kit & extras to build for the Wife,,, and when it Wasn't jelling I went Back to there site, and then go I'm Stupid .......

I hear ya. Looking at the 2040 ipl the intake is completely different leading me to believe its more of a task than you want to get into. The 2040 and 2036 are part of the same family.

The coil mounts to the Cylinder on the 2040, and in the Case on a 2140, All around a FUBAR.
