I will need to do some digging but may have a parts saw looking for a new home.
For which one?? And the other question how much is it gonna hurt? I'm thinking the XL 12 just needs all maintenance parts. Seals of all kinda, fule line, intake if it has a rubber one? And a carburetor rebuild. It's got decent compression as is.

The top handle had no compression when I received it. come to find out it had no plug and a spider living in the cylinder.

Top-handles look great at the bottom of a trashcan...though if you need an IPL for the XL-12, click here:

Leon's Chainsaw Parts and Repari - XL-12, Super XL-12 and XL-15

This might help you with part numbers that might make it easier to source what you need from members, eBay or anywhere else you look that might have parts.

eBay - Little Red Barn - XL-12 Gasket Kit - $69.95 - if you don't want to make your own gaskets, then you can get kits like this. I just got a similar one for my Mac 10-10 and everything fits great.

I have a small pile of XL/XL2/Super2 type saws in the attic, but shipping a handle to Oregon would double or triple its value. Certainly you can find someone close by with saws to donate...

The pile has grown to twice these proportions since the photo...no more bare space on the floor either.

Does it have a working coil? That's all I need for it. It currently has a hd series walbro on it which I have like 15 k10 rebuild kits.

🤣 Imma say I agree although I haven't ever used one. But that's coming from my standpoint of liking big trucks and muscle cars.

I'm trying to get a saw for each family member with production date matching birth year. Currently a Husqvarna 51 1996 (me) the top handle 1985 (sister) the xl12 was a almost 1964. my mother is 1963. I need a 1960 a 1967 and a 1998
