My dealer is pretty tight with Bryan equipment, which is located in Cincinnati. Few years back they picked up a 261 for Bead a couple of weeks before they sold the last of the 260's. So the info is pretty solid, but as always I take it for what it's worth.

I think Stihl is gargling on MS461s right now. Going into the winter sales slow as well. Could be spring but sure hope not! And then they bring back the MS441c. Geez.

The 462 will replace the 461 AND the 441

My local dealer, called his distributor (NE Stihl in Shelton, CT) yesterday. They said they don't have any 462's and are not sure when they're getting them. Buzzkill.

I showed him pics, and he said first he's seen or heard of it. He called his rep, and he didn't know anything either. Lol. Too funny.

Lol. Yup. This is unreal.
He always looks at me funny when I go in for parts with the part numbers. He asks how I get them when he doesn't even have them. Lol
His eyes popped when I told him some of my saws were 4 stroking over 15K too. Lol
He called the shop mechanic, a young guy, and he said it wasn't possible. I told him I'd bring some saws in for him. [emoji23]
