Info on bar

Got this bar in a lot that I purchased, can't seem to find any info on it, any of you guys know anything about it?

Evidently Norman prince associates (NPA) was a company that sold chainsaw parts and they must have had sugi to make some bars for them.

Any idea how long ago they were in operation? I tried to search the company & only found parts listed for sale on evil bay. That's whuly I figured someone here might know more, Leon has some old homelite literature with a NPA add at the bottom with an address of NY.

I couldn't find any history on the company, only nos parts as well.

That’s about 4hrs from here on the Canadian border. I’ve never heard of that company but it would make a nice wall hanger. Kind of interesting hopefully someone has more info.

I used to call and talk with someone there, on the order of 10-15 years ago. They were great to deal with and one time sent me full boxes (100 pcs each) of the clutch washers and friction washers for Fairbanks-Morse starters when I ordered a few of each.

I have at least one NPA branded bar in my display.



They also made some depth gauges for chain filing (not progressive) in .030, .040, and .045 among others.

I might have a clutch drum or two with their name on them as well.

Thanks for the info @heimannm , I'm gonna wrap it up & put it away with some of my NOS homelite bars, maybe one day I'll get a nice Mac to put it on.
