I'm slow at typing on a phone. I just have one usable thumb.

Probably be easier if you took the thumb out of your arse before you tried to type. At least that's how I do it anyway. Got 50% gains. Went from 10 word a minute to 15.

I didn't get a chance to read the entire thread, but some really good points from all sides here. Randy, with the reputation you have in the industry, I would think any feedback from you directed at Husqvarna is called for here. 20 or 30 of us "plain fokes" throwing complaints to them would touch a candle to your gripe, you would hold merit explainin to them they they have some serious QC issues.

There is no reason in this day and age there should be that many issues on your bench in regards to that brand. None.

I'm a brand "hoe". That is to say I have many saws from several different manufacturers, all have their pros and cons......but I usually don't (or won't) buy new saws, I buy wrecks and rebuild them so I know exactly what I got in the end.

At any rate, keep on doing what you do brother. And hey, save some of that pie for me.....

I joined this forum 3 years ago. It seems most guys here are Husqvarna fans. I have little experience with husqvarna saws. Ran a 372 and 394 but not much. Seemed like good saws. Alot of power but should be being pro saws. Im not here to knock Husqvarna but i am here to say Stihl makes a damn good saw. My dad bought an 028 super new in 1988 and my brother still uses it today. That little saw has cut alot of wood. Dependability matters most to me
It’s all fun and games for me. Don’t take this chit too seriously, man of few words. Lol.

Perhaps tomorrow we can discuss the finer points of the newer models of snow shovels.
Plastic edge. Metal edge. Goofy a$$ curved handles. Comfort grip and all dat *s-worde.

Or, lets discuss which brand of snowblower chucks rocks through your windows the best when you accidentally hit the gravel with the chute pointed the wrong way.

I've never even seen a snowblower.

Rock chucking can be greatly improved with some simple sprocket/pulley mods.

Can anyone speak to performance improvements on a simple muffler mod to a Toro 2 stage?

It doesn’t have an air filter why would it need a muffler?

Stihl Ultra gives me the sh1ts. I get so light, I float around the yard. I have to tie off to a Husky (anchor) to keep from blowing down the lane. Say what you want but I'm down with these Huskies...
