As Jacob said it is a Mercury KB-7 saw. It could be a 11HP or 12 HP. The tag on the engine shroud is in very good shape and will say. The 12HP models were also called a DH-120 but that is irrelevant as they are still a KB-7. The bar has the manual oiler on it which would indicate it is a 11HP but of course those are easily swappable. The magneto cover and fan screen are missing which is typical but other than that it looks very complete. As JJ noted the muffler is present which is good. Many years ago a gentleman contacted me about borrowing a muffler to use as a pattern to build one for his saw. I sent him one and when he sent it back he also sent me one he made. It was the product of a true craftsman and in my opinion better than the original. The recoil also appears to be present. If the mag is good and hot some folks used to say they would "toe start" them if the recoil failed. Of course you can also just rope start them. I have tried to take your picture and place some arrows on it to notable things such as the oiler and the model tag. I also placed one pointing to the fan wheel as something looks a bit odd there but it is probably just the way the pic is taken.
