I currently have a Land Pride manual adjust back blade that I use mostly for snow removal and occasionally other tasks. I’d really like something that has a hydraulic offset to get one side of the blade out past the rear wheel. Most of the manufacturers I’ve seen have hydraulic tilt and angle, but not offset. I only have one set of rear remotes so I can really only get one feature. Anybody have any thoughts on how to either fabricate what I’m looking for or know of a product that has the hydraulic offset and manual angle and tilt? I’d love to find something used if I could!

A couple of thoughts: one, have you considered adding a diverter valve so you can have more remotes? I don't use a back blade much, but I love having the top and tilt on my Kubota when I use my box blade. I'm sure it'd be slick with a back blade too.

Next, are you handy with a welder? I'd think that you could convert most manual offset blades to hydraulic pretty easily. I'll try to grab a picture of my blade today, but the way mine offsets I think you could put the right ends on the right length cylinder and be off to the races. I think you're right that finding a used one with only that adjustment being hydraulic would be tough.

If you're looking at new, give Everything Attachments in NC a call. You're probably within their free shipping range and their stuff is very well made. What size tractor are you putting it on? Obviously blades made to stand up to anything over 45hp tractors tend to get expensive.

Run all manners for back blades and they can be really useful. Depends on the application, I happen to like using a Garfield Hydraulic lift & Tilt "Drag" box scraper. :) For road maintenance , grading ( final grades, building pads, and arena's ) even snow removal. :) The only time I prefer the back blade is when I have to either cut or reach over an unusually deep ditch. Even with ditches & swales I usually just put the tractor in and use the pull dozer :)

Phone vid a few years back, pretty rough but will give an idea:

This one isn't mine, but it's similar in the offset adjustment. Seems pretty easy to swap a cylinder in place of that turnbuckle. 00G0G_iaHjedKh3gW_0jm0pO_1200x900.jpg

That one is on my local Craigslist for $1100. Much lighter duty than that and your Mahindra would crumple it up. I found mine which is an 8' on Craigslist for about $350. You can also check tractorhouse.com in the search function you can narrow it down to scraper blades and within a set distance of where you are.

I priced an 8’ rear blade for our 115 HP JD and about fell over! It was a three function hydraulic Bush Hog brand (also quoted a Frontier and Woods). It was over $8,000!
