I thought it might be interesting for folks from other lands to be able to compare some inconsistencies in pricing in different markets.

A NZD only buys around 58 US cents, but there are some regional differences too. IE our 565 is a lot cheaper than a 572 compared to what I hear talked about Stateside.

I believe @Spike60 said the price difference is less than 100.00 maybe 75.00? or so between them here I can't remember.
The cheapest I've seen a 572 is 799.00 usd shipped
None of my local dealer's has any.

So there's something right there. say a 572 is US $1000 @ .58 exchange it should be NZD $1650.....nope,$2289!!!

US 565 to 572 diff. $75 USD (130nzd).....NZ diff. $590nzd..... shaking my head.

They have adjusted the price down on the 565 to get some distance between it and the 572. I've got them priced $100 less than the 572 and $100 more than the 562. The $200 spread between the 2 XP models was a big gap, and the 565 fills that nicely. I expect that I'll see more 565 buyers stepping up from the 562 than stepping down from the 572.

How're you liking these new gen saws?

Close to flawless so far on all models. 550/565/572. Have only sold a couple of the new 545's, but I would expect the same. Honestly, it's way better than I could have dreamed of. After the early 562's and 550's, this is a revelation.
