Thought I'd offer it up. It's a good cylinder. Got a very little transfer by the exhaust port that will clean up. It's an early style cylinder. Don't know what that shiny thing is by the exhaust port, plating is intact. $5 plus shipping.

Yeah, its still available. I forgot I had it for sale!! Lol. Let me find it. This one will fit the old style crankcase.
I'll admit I'm not as familiar with this saw as other older ones I've played with. The one I'm working on is an 89' model so I would guess it's the old style???? What can I look for that will tell me it's the old style? Sorry for the extra work, I ASSumed all these saws had interchangeable parts (50, 51, 55 etc).

The older style 50's (I beleive yours is one of them if it has a white top) will only accept the 44mm cylinder. It was in later years that they opened up the crankcase to accept 51 and 55 cylinders with larger bore diameter. I found out when I ordered a cylinder from Bryan that was for a 50, but wouldnt fit because it had a larger opening in the bottom flange. It was still bored to 44mm, just wouldnt fit on the case. However, I think an older style cylinder will fit in a newer crankcase.

My saw is a black top 300th anni edition. But, if an old cylinder will work on the new cases then we should be good to go.

@Onan18 Can you help decipher whether or not an old style 50 cylinder will fit on new style crank cases? Thanks buddy

Old cylinder will fit on any case, but newer cylinders will only work after a certain serial number, I believe the changeover was around 1986.
