I believe the 394 would be a match also .Anyone also know if there is another coil off another saw that fits the 395? Haven't dealt with too many huskys
Did you try one of the dukes coils at all?The coil is unique to the 394 and 395 and unfortunately they are know to have problems so used ones are pretty much nonexistent.
Most AM coils I've tested have been crap but the one that came on my Holzfforma was decent. I'm yet to find a source for those coils.
I’ve compared timing, but no long term testing. The couple I tested fired 5° later than oem. Not an issue if you’re just trying to make a saw run. But if you advance the timing 8-10° and then replace it with oem, the crank won’t lastDid you try one of the dukes coils at all?

Got a couple for 394I look often on eBay and occasionally find new OEM for $50. Normal price is $90.
