Probably a lost cause, but here's hoping.

What would you want for it?

Warning: at the moment im what @Bill G calls "tire kicker." My current top has minor heat damage at the very front.
Doug is top notch, but I'm not sure how often he's on. So if you don't hear anything for a minute be patient. It's harvest season plus bow hunting season here.

Thanks for the heads up. I can definitely afford to be patient. @Glock37 is going to powder coat the cases for me, but apparently he has a life or something, so we're waiting until get gets back from Rome next month. Since the main purpose of this project is for me to learn, I'm nothing rushing anything or anybody.

Not the first time Mike having a life has created problems on OPE:risas3:

It’s a valid concern if you’re going to have a nice shiny crankcase. You may need to make a clean notch in this area, then you’ll have plenty of clearance for a bigger deflector mod 😀
I like the way you think! And this whole series of saw likes to melt top covers due to zero muffler design that SUCKS BUFFALO FARTS!

Luckily, I have a spiffy dual port muffler courtesy of @singinwoodwackr so hopefully we can keep things cool. 😎

Not sure why I was mentioned in this thread but there are many things that I am not sure of.

Thanks Tim, spot on. Sorry for the delay. I looked and have a few left. Here is a picture. If you are interested shoot me a offer.
