Husqvarna 350 Flywheel Pawl Stud Removal - Help

So on some newer Husky's the flywheel pawls and spring are attached by a flat round-headed "stud" that apparently is screwed into the flywheel. Here's the stupid question: how do you remove the stud? I have a flywheel that has a bad spring but short of using vice grips on the head, I don't see any way to remove it. What's the secret?

This help....looks like a splined pin ...press fit to me ,pushed out from the back ,

Thanks, my drawing was not so detailed and the markings on stud looked like threads. Makes much more sense as a splined stud.

Tap it out with a small drift from the back side?
