i may be mistaken but you can buy a new 288(made in Brazil) from robin wood(Malaysia) for around $1200-this is a great lookig saw -i am just drawing a comparison.

Then go buy one Then, no need to clutter up this for sale thread with your bs tire kicking.

It’s all about the added parts , that you can’t get with what ur talking about . NOS Wrap handle, hi top cover and filter and such , it all adds up

Yep. That wrap handle here to CA even if you could find 1 new would be 189.00 to 220.00 I belive. Last 1 I bought years ago new, for a 372 was upward of 150.00 sure can't find many good ones used either. Agree just the wrap handle alone way ups value today.
