272 wrap, repaired, I would put it on a worker, not a restoration. Make an offer?

I don't have the bracket to go with the handle, but I can post a picture of one tomorrow.

Just went out to the shop and compared a 272 handle to a 670 champ, the Jonsered is definitely different hole spacing, not sure one way or another if you could "make it" fit or not. Sorry to be such a buzzkill. SS

I had a 670 super years ago, and I could of sworn it was the same as the 266

I don't believe so, the bolt pattern is different. Might be it could be modded?
It would be easy to modify. Spread the handle slightly till the holes aline, cut the excess off, twist each side till they match up, bend the arm to fit the saw, done.

While I did not get exact measurements the part that goes on the side has a hole pattern approximately twice that of the 272. At roughly the 21 minute mark Spike 60 explains this in this video.

Sorry, I already sold the handle bar. It was so long ago when I had my 670. It had a full wrap on it and I can't remember which Husky handle I used. For some reason I think it was off a 372? I have one if you want to compare it to your saw. There's a handle that fit your saw I just can't remember. To many saws for what little brain I've got left.

Will try and take a picture of it in the day light today. For as much of this series saw is the same, there are quite a few differences here and there. For the record you and I posted #3 & #4 at the exact same time, I wasn't trying to be a jerk.

No reason to apologize, I struggle with the computer anyway. Let's find you a handle. You know I still kick myself for selling my 670 super. She was a runner.

I know I did not have to, just seemed I came off a little jerkish to me, was not my intent is all. I don't even think I need or want a full wrap handle, it's extremely rare to have to fell from both sides here, I just grab a saw with a bigger bar. I tend to click on everything 272 series related though it seems. 670's are nice saws, like a 266 only a little better.

Sorry... been hunting a good looking full wrap for a 300th anviersary 268 that was given to me by a damn good friend. Been hunting hard enough I almost bought the saw with one Howard had a short time back..if I had the funds at that time I would have.

Not a problem at all! I'm slowly hoarding parts to build up a 625 with a 272 top end. I'm glad that you got what you where looking for! If I would have bought it, it would sit on a shelf for who knows how long before I get all the other parts rounded up. :)
