22 Mag is probably one of the most versatile weapons ever created. A good lever and a good revolver and you are set.

Don't poke the Circus Bear......besides, I already gave him a nice 266XP. It's wasn't a 1989 though....

Yessir, and it's one of my favorites. A keeper. 1993 model. First year for the 272XP. Going by the IPL's, the 266 hadn't been built since 1989 (the year when both 266XP's and 268XP's were produced).

My theory is that Husky had a bunch of left over 266 cases and other parts and did a final 266XP run to clear 'em out in 1993. Most of those seem to have gone to government agencies. I'm lucky that mine seems to have spent most of its time on a shelf.

I do have a nice 300th anniversary 268XP. Waiting its turn for a rebuild. RD found that one for me. It'll have a southern accent.
