So, how does this saw stack up against my Husky 61 and 353 (weight, displacement power, etc.? Are you including a bar and chain? If so, what length bar? I was a bit surprised that you moved it away from the .325 chain that my 353 uses. So, I assume you are either supplying or recommending a 20" bar, which moves it closer to the performance of my 61.

It is pho it is a open port dad just a step below the 262 they are nice little saws a 262 top end will bolt right on it would be closer to the 61 I think just lighter it is a 57cc I have owned 3 of these they all had 3/8 on them. I like a 18 b/c on these saws.

So, this is in the same camp as a 357 XP but perhaps a tad down in weight and power? That explains the 3/8" pitch. I imagine it would run with my 61 and save my back a pound or so. My mouth is watering. I need to sleep on it, but I doubt I will sleep well.

I've had a 257 too and ran a 3/8 ×20" just fine.
Cool saws compact light.
Like how you can grease the sprocket bearing thru the crankshaft cool feature.

I'd take a 257 over a 61... Those 2xx saws are strong stock and just plain fun ported. Mike is a great seller and has gone thought this saw and I am amazed he is selling it let alone for the asking price. Buy with confidence.
