I’m working on a Husqvarna 235 that the Throttle doesn’t open all the way. :(

Everything seems to be in place and the saw starts and runs fine, It just doesn’t rev up.

My first thoughts was the plastic piece that the throttle rod pushes on jumped positions on the shaft, but if it was in a different position in the choke wouldn’t lock on.

So then I thought there was something missing in the handle, but it doesn’t appear to be.

So then I moved onto the spring mounts and I can Get a throttle to move all the way if I flex to handle really hard.

I’m just hoping it’s one of those things that so obvious I’m overlooking!!

Pictures coming.

Thanks fellas. :)

The trigger and throttle rod seem to be Functioning as they should..... I would have to straighten the rod out a whole bunch to make up what it needs to go wide open.

I need to see one that’s Functioning as it should, anyone have a killer 235??? And want to snap a picture?

The throttle rod plastic may not have enough wear to need replaced, but the trigger is warped. That metal piece the arrow points to is bent. They're supposed to be flat, not concave.
