Howdy Men, has anyone figured out how to replace the husky 450 oil pump with one from a 455? The 455 pump fits perfectly in the 450 case however I am tunning into an issue with the drive gear. They are completely different, so any suggestions would ber greatly apperciated.

I am pretty sure you would just need to get the 455 oil gear and 455 clutch drum too. Then just put .325 rim sprocket on it. I just did this same swap on a husky 345 and this is what I used.

Hi Shane, I have swapped out the pumps and clutch drum but the 455 pinion gear is rubbing on the pump cover and wearing out in a hurry. Did you have any issues with this? Thank you

I have not got my saw back together yet. Do you have any pictures of it?
