I've got a couple 395 cylinders. They both need the exhaust flange welded. One is scored. I'll see if it will clean up as well.

K. Keep me posted. I might need some conversion hardware if you've got it. what's up with the exhaust flanges? Are they prone to breaking?

Loose muffler bolts will do that. 2 of these parts saws I got were ran over. One with a dozer. I'll see if the one will clean up and probably send them to be welded.

Another member was going to do them. I need more cases before I can build any more. The ones I have are all busted to pieces.

Yea I think I had the same problem. I passed my big box-o-parts to a friend that wanted one and told him to build 2 and keep one. Dont have my box back yet so don't know what's left over. Seems like the recoils are always broke and the clutch side of crankcase is always tore up or cracked. I have a complete 395xp sitting on the bench right now and its been tortured to death by a tree service up the road...

I may have a good enough one to build a play saw since the back lower corner by the fuel tank is broken off on one. Then there's 3 more that are trash.

would be nice if husky lowered their prices on other parts like they did with the P&C combo's... that's what keeps me from messing with the husky's... expensive recoils, crankcases, and clutch cover/brake mech's. Can get China recoil and clutch cover but no crankcase yet. The few AM crankcases I have seen are really nice. Maybe we'll see them some day after Husky releases the 396 xpg!

The oem recoil for some aren't much higher than aftermarket. I just got one for a 385 complete for $70~. They don't have aftermarket for those yet.

I've fixed a lot of 394/5 exhaust flanges and rand bits of the cases. People let the screws/bolts get loose on them and it really messes them up.

The cases are beyond fixing unless you want to build half an oil tank.
