I just realized I installed the bearing in the case first and it's not against the crank lobe. Will this be ok? Not sure why I did it this way. I put this bottom end together years ago... the seals are already in or I'd drive them in farther. 14791760241081787569307.jpg 14791760505031548516719.jpg

359 crank. No stuffers. I have 3 other bottom ends here. Two are like this, one has bearings against the crank.

weird , oem crank on all three?
My 357 cranks has extra space(crank has diff diameter also compared to bearing diameter) for carrieng stuffers.

It seems like it would egg out the case easier with half the amount of support for each bearing.

Yes

The bearings are fully supported but they u st aren't against the crank webs.

I built this bottom end the same time I built my other 357 but I just didn't remember it being like this so I figured I'd ask you guys.

I ported a 359 top to test. It's set up at 100, 116, 76 so I wanted to try it out. My box o 359-7 parts is getting a little rougher over the years...lol.
