I got this saw in trade. It started as a 261 and still has the 2 shoe clutch. New meteor piston with a decomp mahle cylinder. Starts and runs fine. Just not going to be used around here. $300 plus shipping.

Hmmm -- @Trailman from Medway... Jim W. it's Eric M.!

Dan -- Jim and I go way back as co-workers for some time. He was looking for a decent used saw to replace a classic Husky he's had for years (I can't remember the details).

Jim can't go wrong with a saw from Mike @mdavlee. You will very much like that 262 -- quite an upgrade from your old saw.
Still has the OEM cylinder and a new meteor piston and Mike is a very knowledgeable saw builder.

When you get it we can fine tune it. It may need to be richened a bit especially if Mike is inland similar to Randy. When I got my 262 back from Randy (Mastermind Worksaws in TN) it was a bit lean as we are about 300 feet above sea level and Randy is somewhere around 1200 to 1500 feet higher in elevation and when you come down in elevation it will run leaner.

Either way it's a good idea to tune it I'd be happy to help you.
I would also love to take a couple of cuts with your saw to see how it performs!

Sea ya!
