We picked up my grand daughters today, just in case. They live on the Gulf side, up in the panhandle, but both my Son and DIL are going to be busy for the duration of the storm and they wanted the girls with family.

@Cracker Boy, are you going to be OK where you are?
Being busted up, were you able to do any preparation?
If the projected track is accurate, this thing is headed right up your ass.
I'll keep you in my prayers, my redneck friend.

Wifes getting laundry all caught up got some bread snacks water batteries can goods beer we will be hunkered down and be praying.
Give some thoughts to escape routes. And where emergency services might be in case there is no need for generator,ac,clothes...have a plan B and C...thoughts are with you all.

We have family in SC already en route to NJ. We prefer the "get the heck outta dodge" plan.

Praying for you all. I know FWC has many officers still in Texas from that storm. We were told to prepare to go to FL if you all need assistance. I have the jon boat prepped. I have a pallet loaded with water, gas/oil, and other items ready to load in the truck. I have a lot of friends in that area that is hunkering down or driving north today. Stay safe.

Right dead center in Ga here. Like REO Speedwagon sang...we gonna be Ridin' The Storm Out.'

You're gonna get wet.
My son has been making preparations to move his aircraft to Kentucky.
I was hoping they were going to head your way. I was going to have him buy you dinner, on me. Since the storm is going to hammer Georgia, they're going to Ft. Campbell.

He just made Master, 11 yrs in.

Appreciate the offer Steve. We've been sending F-15's, C-130's outta here left and right since yesterday...flightline is humming right now, can't fuel 'em up quick enough and get 'em gone. The C-17's, C-5's, EC-8 JSTARS will get hangared until full capacity...rest will get pad-eyed, tied down, grounded, and chocked on the concrete.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those in the path. Not sure how its going to travel. If it comes as far inland as HUGO -- there are going to be quite a few people in need.
Thanks to those who let us know of their situation. Be safe!

Just got back from deployment to Texas for Mathew. Returned to Orlando just in time to start boarding up the house. Scheduled to be back on duty Sunday/Monday. It's getting busy out, but most people by me are still being civil.

Just getting my saws ready, generator ready and working on the house. Supposed to send a 461 to Randy this week, might be a little postponed. Glad I got my 7900 back from Miller Mod Saws.
