how the *f-word do i get thinset off of a hardwood floor?

If pine is a softwood ,why is it a hardwood because its on a floor now ?

It would be too confusing for the city folk if they called it softwood floors. Very good observation junkman

I use yellow pine on occasion. It's stronger as well

I hate it for flooring...the edges partially break off, then catches a sock and sends GIANT slivers in my foot...feels like someone sticking a 2x4 through your foot

that was my plan when I pulled up the plywood and found the *f-wording thinset on the flooring
