HELP! HOMELITE 450

Does Anyone Know If The Homelite 450 Had A Ring In Top Of Carb Boot To Keep It From Collapsing,Similar To What Stihl Uses ,If So Is There A Part Number Available

I looked at a couple different IPL's and the do not show any sort of ring inside the connector (boot). The connector itself appears to have a flange that the carburetor would seal against.

Item #8 is the connector and 9 is a garter spring that seals the connector to the duct/insulator.

I can confirm that there isn't, I did the boot on a 360 and there wasn't one.
