Those carbs are the holy grail of carbs. But yoi can get a 199 or 198 and swap linkage and get plates from Walbro. Same venturi.

For what it’s worth, I have a pair of 262s...one with an -87 and one with a -198. They both run well but the 198 is more forgiving with its tune.

There’s gotta be a hundred or more
different hda carbs.
Since walbro changed their site and removed a lot of info I haven’t been able to find a comprehensive list of applications or venturi sizes. Some here, some there but never nearly all of them.

There wasn’t ever really a straightforward list with all the specs, you had to select each individual carb model to get them so it would’ve been pretty cumbersome to have copied all of it.

If someone has something complete for any or all of the walbro families I’d love to see it...

@drf256 . Basically you've got to swap the side the controls are on. Also get an 87 throttle plate from Walbro. Same venturi size. Had a 262 that Randy @Mastermind did that he had a 199 carb on. They could tell you better than I what alls involved.

The swap isn't that hard, you need to sacrifice a 120 carb for the throttle and choke rods, you can use the plate from the 198/199, grind away two small places in the 198/199 and that's basically it.
