Might of used a little much... Not gonna lie I singed my peach fuzz a little at hunting camp this fall. Stunk like ass all day as naturally it was right under the nostril.

We know...you prefer to burn your pubes. I am curious as to know how you stretched up to get it under your nose. That sounds impressive.

Since this thread is all over the place anyway. Why does 100% gas have only 10% more gas but generally cost 25% or more than e10 gas...

Probably because the corn fuel is subsidized by the govt., allowing for a greater discount.

Also, there is less and less e-free gasoline, which drives up the price of e-free. E-free fuel is very hard to find in some areas.

Yeah luckily I have a station that sells it for 30 cents higher than e10 I got some the other day for $2.60 a gallon. But some stations just charge $1+ or more. I think we will be good for a while because we have a big river that runs through and fisherman want 100% for their boats.

Finding e-free is not a problem here either.

Didn’t think about that. More reasons for me to dislike e10

The station down the street sells some Efree at 91 octane and its the same price as other places.

I usually just use e-free 87 for the 30 cents more than what the going price for gas is, but I will occasionally spring for the Conoco premium 93 octane e free. They have a lot more detergents in their gas that keeps everything sparing clean. It costs around $1 more a gallon so I don’t use it all the time.

My choices for e free is to drive to the east side by lake st clair to a marina for 87 and 93. The 87 is close to 3.50 and premium 93 is usually around 4.25. Now my modded skis must run atleast 100 and i feel much safer at 110. That stuff is bout 9.00 but my god is it a riot to run tuned right to the edge.

I just use the corn gas, no additives, and put a carb kit and fuel hose in when needed. just don't store it that way. true fuel for storage.
I buy the corn fuel too, I go thru so much that it isn't cost effective to seek out efree or buy the expensive VP fuel.

I really don’t like oil threads

You’re killing me Julian

Same box sitting in my shop right now. I asked our local Schafer’s rep to get me a couple quarts to try. He sent me a case and said tell me what you think. We do use there oil and grease almost exclusively now. We switched to there grease several years ago. Our problems with our big bearings ceased immediately ironically the grease were using before the switch was Lucas.

No foolin? ..I switched to 91 non-oxygenated quite a few years ago and it seemed that the saws start easier, and run “crisper” on this gas. It is readily available around here however, and not much more $$ (maybe .30-.40/gal).
