Pistols are a whole different game. No shoulder or cheek weld, no forend on most of them, sights much farther from the eyes, usually a worse trigger pull. Plus, any errors you make with a rifle are always magnified with a handgun. I'm 47 and have been shooting handguns since I bought my first one at 21. I am just now getting to the point where I can consistently make groups like you do with most of my handguns.

I taught my friend's son how to shoot pistols IMG_20251126_142433368_HDR.jpg
He loved it and out shot his dad IMG_20251126_143648449_HDR.jpgIMG_20251126_144816210.jpg
The 22x and tisas px9 were everyone's favorite to shoot
IMG_20251126_153909355~2.jpg
I shot the px9 against my friend's canik
The tisas is far softer shooting for whatever reason
Slide mass recoil assembly etc
And the trigger on the px9 is better.

Speaking of glock clones LOL

Just picked this up last week, Gforce arms rapture, glock 26 clone (aside from mags as it has a narrower profile grip, ala taurus g2/3c as well as a more upright grip angle....)

so far loving it, how could you complain for a glock compatible setup for what i paid which is $219... already have an upgraded trigger on the way as i am not terribly fond of the amount of take up on a stock glock style trigger... as well as some spare mags...

My favorite cheap bottom feeder is the S&W SD series. I have three 9's and a .40 and so far they have been just as accurate and reliable as my Glock, Sig, and Browning pistols. The only mod I have done is a reduced power trigger spring which makes the double action pull very smooth and light. The new SD's have a single action type pull similar to the M&P and need no mods.

If you know anyone looking for one
My local shop says they've sold a lot of the sd series.

I have one of those one of those really good sights and grip texture also have a exodus
No complaints good pistols
Really haven't shot them much both had stagey gritty triggers so I put 10.00 3.5 disconnectors in them
Now they have better triggers than my OEM glocks.
They sell extended mags for them
Used to be 2 for 50.00
Check out this video, "Gforce rapture and beretta mags"
I'm going to get a 92 mag and cut a new relea to try it
That's all they are beretta mag body's repurposed.

I'm full up on Glock clones after I bought the gforces ruger's rxm came out for 350.00
So I got a couple
I like it the best of the clones and will get the g17 soon and g26 frames when they are available
Almost bought a derya last month
It's on sale now.
Lots of good reviews on them but I got the tisas duty instead for something different
Really impressed with it.

Are you talking about the RXM? Somebody on Cast Boolits took his RXM apart and measured everything and compared it to his Glock 26 and Glock 17. He concluded that there was no way to make a 26 or 17 slide work with the RXM receiver without major modifications to one or the other. But yeah, if they came out with a Glock 26 size RXM that would be pretty sweet.

The grip frames are supposed to be released eventually from Magpul
Hopefully they come through
The 26 size is actually my favorite Glock.

Dang, that is a good price. One thing that has always irked me about single action revolvers other than Ruger is that very few of them have adjustable sights.

I ordered 1k federal black 115gr 9mm
And 2k winchester.22lr
UPS said it was delivered to my porch no phot while I was at work
I got home at 3:30am no ammo so I looked around it wasn't here IMG_20251204_142238779.jpg
Leaving the house the next day I found it on a my property next door
My friend dropped some wheels and tires off 50ft from the road
And I guess UPS thought that was close enough
About 200ft from my porch
Good neighbors or thieves are weakIMG_20251205_111810072_HDR.jpgIMG_20251205_112957279_HDR.jpg
I really like the federal black packaging IMG_20251205_103930241_HDR.jpg
I don't really like Winchester much but it works
Really dirty ammo and not as reliable as anybody else from my experience.

In my experience even the "higher end" win ammo is dirty.... back in the days of the "ammo shortage" i was forced to pay astronomical rates for the "m22" 1k rounds of 22lr... and proceeded to hoard them til just recently, as i moved to NY shortly after, which is a perpetual ammo shortage state (ontop of the unconstitutional ammo background checks) and holy crap, now that i am shooting it i feel like i need to bore snake after every mag thru the s&w 22a....

Winchester 40 grain Power Point or Super Speed is the good stuff, and only sold in 100 or 200 packs. Cheap ass 36 grain hollow points from any manufacturer are strictly practice grade, though I find the Armscor and Aguila are much cleaner than others. Aguila Super Extra 40 grain is my favorite cheap .22's. Very clean, reliable priming, and will outshoot many more expensive ones.
