I just acquired a Green Machine 7700 saw along with a McCulloch PM10-10S parts saw and a couple of McCulloch blowers and a few other bits. Does anyone out there know of a source for parts (NOS or good used) for the Green Machine 7700? I need a brake band and a few parts to go with the brake as well as a clutch drum.

It has 180 PSI compression and a great spark, started right up even though it has been setting partially disassembled for a few years. Seems a shame not to put it to work.

I have one as well that I got from a member here - I haven't had as much luck with parts. I placed an order through e-Replacement parts but then got the e-mail that most of my order was NLA.

Ebay seems to be the best bet and Chainsawr - Scott had one a while back that he was parting out.

Almost forgot to post some photos. Plastics on this one are all broken up, looks like maybe it fell out of somebody's truck onto the pavement. The one coming from motalitool is much better cosmetically, I will end up with a pretty good looking, good running saw.

Those Green Machines were tough customers. In the 80's and early 90's all the golf courses and mowing companies used them, many are still running today. Its sad that the company went belly up.
