Did you warm over the 385/390 carb?

I like Deets Solo setup. What carb is under that stack?

Easy to hook up a filter. You can see dust in it. I would just cut the grey plastic and put a tall stack on mine with a filter. I have a teal victim. Trying to avoid the fab work on the stack.

Mike made videos of it on my Saw.
I ended up selling the HD kit and run a regular filter now.

My Saw has a 7910 top end but did not have the Slr muffler. It was the 6421 muffler opened up and grinded out. The goofy female part of the slr was grinded out of the exhaust side of the cylinder too.

A 6401 base with a 28" Total full skip chisel 50 .375 is the new business end. Stock OEM untouched bottom. The top will be the debate.
I like Mikes bolt on 390 carb. I like OEM or AM bolt on *s-word. Makes life easy and repeatable. 6400 Maki jug I have. 6400 muff done. 665 hat I/you/we can get. The 7900 is king so far. Is the 7910 better? Is the new air filter setup a restriction or just skip it and make an elbow work and put a top filter on it? Better is better. Maybe get to run full comp. I won't kill the saw from lack of air or by dragging it down. This one needs to live a long time trouble free. I'm keeping it. The block is just too nice. Hunting a cheap tank handle. Color matters not. The rest is in pieces. This saw was a parking block for something. Home Depot special from a local repair shop. Guy said, " It was bent when we got it" lol Dude says "did it leak gas?' lol

The solo hybrid that @stihl livin got from Mike wouldn't hardly run with a stock filter. But that was with no choke and the RWJ on it. The saw was finicky but man did it run.
Pretty sure it got switched back before he sent it out

It did get switched back. I didn't want something that temperamental for firewood. Mike did do some testing and it wasn't much slower with the original set up

My solo has a Tilly off of a 390, 296 I think?

Anyway you need a different boot and if you want to run a choke it will work but it will be backwards of stock
