I don't like Round-up or insecticides. That being said there is a time and place for those but sparingly. Too much can go wrong.

Chemical warfare is icky, but sometimes it's the lesser evil.

Can go wrong and has. It's easier on the world than what it replaced, but still evil stuff. I try to keep the concentration to an effective minimum and spray up to but not when blooming starts. I've seen Paraquat on shelves in Mexico and heard DDT is still used in some parts of the world.

my advice is dont do it- i have lived here most all of my life and I will be moving out next year- you can buy my place, it will be for sale a year or so from now
