I have 2 x27s and have even broke one of them. Fiskars replaced it no questions asked. Best money ever spent in my opinion.

I've got the x27 and the x7 for kindling. I like them both. I just prefer a wooden handle in my hand.

Love my X 27, best hand splitting tool I have used in 40 years of splitting. I have never used it, but I hear the new Husky splitting Axe is also VG, but does not come with the long handle (which I like).

i would have liked to try the husq, but the short handle would prove to be very awkward to me at 6'6''. That's one thing I love about my 6.5 Mueller- a 35'' handle.

x-25 here. i may pick up an x-27 but the 25 works well for my height (6'). im more interested in one of the smaller hand axes.

X27 at camp, plus the little splitting hatchet with the same head shape. Only pita is it doesn't like to be stuck in the stump when yer done with it. That fat taper dontcha know...
