So, daily I am sent an email telling me of forum events, etc. This email is rejected by our email server, and the OPE site tells me to fix my email.

Has anyone looked at the DMARC reports?

Our server only rejects non-authenticated emails.

Any thoughts?

I have now turned off all emails so I don't have to change emails every day:

Email options
  • Receive news and update emails
  • Receive activity summary email We will keep you updated about new content when you haven't visited for a while

I started experiencing this in the last few days 12/26 is my last email. Every day it the site tells me I cannot post, even in my threads. I have to go to my settings click in my email address, hit save and I can post. The email is good. I am using an outlook.com domain.

Today I changed it to a different email, and turned off the same 2 email options.

Hopefully tomorrow I do not have to repeat the same.

Had to do the same thing as soon as I logged in. It has been going on for a few days now.

I spent about ten minutes trying to log just now.

I've not been able to log in to Hearth.com for a month in a similar fashion to what is happening here so if anyone here is a admin over there please private message me.

Thanks.

Yeah, DMARC, SPF, and DKIM are important to ensure emails go through. I have the same issue with work emails from quite a few of my customers. They are now getting on board, but it is slow going.

Any updates from anyone posting in this thread?

I had a hell of a time getting this thing working again .Finally after about a week fumble fingers .Some type of BS saying my e-mail didn't work of which I suspect was the work of a hacker .

Where the heck is the button to stop getting daily updates of everything here?
Kinda needlessly loading up my mail box with stuff that I've already seen.

Google blocked my access a while back. Still have no idea as to why.
no virus or worms that I could find in my pc.
Just because the phone line blinked during a storm?? Yes, It happens with every stormy weather event here.
I have to go through all that captcha crap or phone code grief any time the service flickers.
Anyone got an idea what's upsetting Google about that?
I thought residential IP addresses etc were dynamic anyway, So why does it foul up google if the line/service blinks in the rain.

By the time I got back in, nearly 400 junk mail daily updates to sort through in case there was anything from someone that I needed to know about.

Arboristsite had started bombing it with same thing too. Plus they had sent an email saying my acct was canceled.
eh, Whatever.....
They just got flagged as spam so no more fooling with them.

In your account details - had all mine turned off for a while turned back on to test the issue here. Seemed to be OK

well phooy. the buttons are just boxes with f0 cb in them. I can't tell what the status is.

At least now I know where they are. I may try booting with a different version browser and see if I can get them unticked. I dropped back to an older version of Firefox after the newer vers took out things that I stll use.
thanks Dougie.

Rebooted with different rigamarole. Buttons to stop emails of daily updates are visible.
I un-ticked them, we'll see if it takes.
What I don't understand is why they were ever set to "yes" in the first place.
Secondly, why the heck are they in the account details tab rather than under settings or preferences?
That's why I didn't find them originally.

Again, thanks Dougie, for getting me on track.
