my cs520 is one saw I regret selling. It was well made, dependable, and a snotty little bastard.
Yes they can be very angry liL saws with a underestimated name. I like my echo 360t. Just wish it had a option for a non limited coil. But it takes on the big wood with ease. 6 years of reliability in the tree service.

Check is in the mail to Michigan. Should be there tomorrow. Looking forward to receiving this saw from Joe.

I like the support you guys gave it, but in my case, I fear I was a pushover. You see, I worked on one of these five years ago that was suffering from owner abuse. I read between the lines. It was very good engineering that simply needed an owner's respect.

I pledge to give this saw a good home. Oh, and Joe, the chain brake and sprocket cover can be removed to reduce the size of the box needed to pack the saw since no bar is included. I've found that a nice option. One of the Stihl saws I shipped awhile back to a buyer was crushed in the carton and the chain brake handle was snapped off. It's amazing what carriers do to cartons.

Received the saw and it's running fine. Thanks again to Joe and the encouragement you all gave me to buy it. I found practically no repairs were required. I predict it will run right with a Stihl MS440 and might even beat it. I mounted a Stihl 25" bar on it:

The second Pic shows the bar adapter I made in my shop using some good thin oak. I've done this before with my Makita and never had any trouble. I really do like this saw so far. Terrific buy. Two thumbs up!

Just a quick response. I have used this CS-670 saw quite a bit on big stuff like red elm, oak, and ash. I now have a 28" Stihl bar on it and it never complains. Great noodle cutter for big rounds, so I bought a 24" Oregon Power Match bar for it as well. Only servicing I had to do was tighten the muffler bolts. These saws were designed to last.
