I got this saw as a "non-runner" in a lot. I couldn't find anything wrong, so I threw a Denso plug at it with some fresh 40:1 non-ethanol mix. It pretty much fired right up with a splash in the plug hole. When I had the muffler off to check the piston I removed the pea shooter in it. I have not cut with it because it came with the only Echo bar and chain I have in 3/8, but it wears a .325 rim. There were two bar nuts on the front stud and the thread is messed up on it. I managed to get them off but the stud will need to be replaced. I would also kit the carb for easier starting but it is not necessary. I believe a new stud and rim are all that are keeping this from being a usable tool. Of course a little cleaning wouldn't hurt. I'd like $150 for it. Thanks.PXL_20251115_173917291.jpgPXL_20251115_173927205.jpgPXL_20251115_173921579.jpg

I didn't even know they made a "light" version of the 490, how's the weight compare to the stand version lol.

I think what he means is that minor work is needed. It’s not how I would have said it but oh well.
Fixed:rolleyes:. Sorry, my brain still works like it's before the age of social media...
