A field guide to help you along the way during your travels.
After experiencing some confusion over terminology, I thought sharing this guide to foreign languages would be beneficial to most of us throughout our lives.
This morning I saw a post by @Milkman31 where he appeared to have a mess of Boomers on his tailgate (after inspection on a big enough screen for my old eyes, I realised that they were reds)
Was gonna ask him, but thought that Boomers might be a regional term. So I had intensions of using a portion of this for definition of said Boomers (9:18 I believe) Instead of trying to spit it out var bait em, (wouldn't no how to separate a portion anyway) This is mainly to help 24 @Jon1212 avoid the excessive trauma brought on by excessive characters. @rattler may be able to confirm or deny the this isn't fake news.
Randy @Mastermind
May also be able to offer some insight since after watching his videos, I can confirm that this language is spoken at least as far as the Cumberland Plateau. As a matter of fact, I never knew that I spoke so flewantly until I'uz growd and actually heard my recorded voice (shocked). When I moved as far as Arkansas, while still plenty southern, you could tell a big difference.
I appreciate you'uns all bein here on this monu"mental" moment in history, as it is my first (and could be my last) post on the WNW (world narrow web) with the exception of the pics I learned to post for the Christmas thread.
If it works, I could possibly be poised to do one of them hoss tile takeovers @microsoft, and this definitely puts me one step closer!
(41:19) evidence seems to suggest that @THop real name is Beretta. I don't know for sure but a preponderance of the evidence seems to suggest so...

So without further ado , the OPE Masterpieces of saws theatre presents, Mountain Talk...........

a good hour of pure enjoyment. one thing reminded me of when I was in boot camp and one them yankee boys asked me if this was my first pair of shoes (boots). I told him it sure was and he believed it. just sayin.

My children enjoyed watching it when they were in elementary school, one of their teachers asked my wife once "What exactly Sigogglin is" apparently he had added it to his vocabulary and was using it extensively...

Yes it was hard for me to get my first construction job without shoes, I was perplexed and wondered how they expected me to get some without my first paycheck.
The old, what came first dilemma, the chicken,
or the boots...

Yous guys ain't da only ones...

I agree, y'all sound a lot like us, with one nostril closed.
Head on up to the upper reaches of the Minnesota tundra and they also sound very similar only with the full on nose pinch,I always assumed that it was the cold and their noses were just frozen up. And they throw in a liberal dose of darns and yah
Give it a try, pinch your nose and say,
Yah he got sucked right in to the darn snowblowah.

My wife is from UT(up there)Head east to her home state of Indiana and a similar situation. I still struggle to decipher some of the stuff she says and on occasion and have to call her brother to interpret. For example I gave her a 5 gal fuel can and she asks, "Do yah want me to put tan in it?"
And invariably I'll say, put tan in it, no I want gas in it...

I could do a pretty good Manitowoc accent after Netflix got through with em..

I've always heard the best time to get you'uns a mess ta boomers is when it's airish, I appreciate you confirming that.
Now, that is a dialect of which I am NOT currently cognizant. I shall repair to the living room henceforth, and bury my nose into a my trusty tome, and dwell unto the matter above no more.

And just a regular evening in space for some Cockney's, such as me wankin self...
And another of our handy field guides,
I will only disagree with the geographic limitations they place on it,claiming the bells of Saint Marys being required to be within earshot. I beg to differ,we have a healthy Hillbilly Cockney population here in Arkansas...
