This CAD is getting out of hand. I just received a Non-running Dolmar PS-341 from the local scrapper. I don't know anything about Dolmars, but I have kind of been looking for a smaller saw. I couldn't wait to see if it was junk so I moved my 036 project to the other side of the bench and jumped into seeing if I could get this 341 to run. I pulled the muffler and the piston has no visible scoring. I cleaned the plug dumped some mix in the carb and it fired up for a second. Filled the tank, pulled on it a few times and it farted once or twice, now it doesn't have spark. I cleaned up the flywheel and still no spark. Compression is at 140psi but it hasn't ran in a long time judging by the rusted solid 14" bar. It is missing the recoil cover, but it turns out a bar of a throw away homelite ranger 33cc appears to fit perfect.

My question is are these 341 saws decent and worth putting potentially $80 for a coil in it plus whatever it costs for a recoil cover.

Thanks for the advice and any info about these dolmar ps341 saws.

I've got a new coil for one of those that you could buy for quite a bit less than $80. PM me.
